Splicers

A Splicer is a machine used for joining ends of two yarns by mingling of yarn fibres. This results in single long continuous yarn as well as significant advantage in improving quality in later stage of manufacturing.

There are two types of splicers namely; manual splicer and automatice splicer. Some sophesticated splicer are even capable to join ends of yarns of different fiber, torsion, count and different spinning method. These splicer can be used to get twisted and single spun yarns, continued filament, elastomeric and compact yarn and open ended.

Aqua Splicer

Aquasplicers use compressed air along with water to join ends of yarns. These kind of splicers are useful for yarns such as linen and cotton (also called hypgroscopic yarns).

Aquasplicer is available in both automatic and handy version. Automatic aqua splicer can be fitted on wining machines. Handy version can be installed on most of the textile machine like assembly winders, manual winders, twisting machines, warping machines and in weaving mills for knitting together above creels with weft creels.
